Brennan Hooper
Pulpit Minister
Brennan began working here in January of 2021. He is a 2019 graduate of the Southwest School of Biblical Studies in Austin, TX and is currently working toward an online Master's degree in Biblical Studies from the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, CO. Brennan is a fan of sports, particularly basketball, to both play and watch. He also loves to travel and is a lifetime student.
Charles Boren
Family Minister
Charles is a graduate of Abilene Christian University. He and Rita were living in north San Antonio when they started visiting the Canyon Lake church in July, 2011. At the time, Charles was a retired minister having preached for over 50 years. In January 2012, he became the minister in Canyon Lake and they moved there. In 2016, he retired from the pulpit to become the family minister. He now preaches when Brennan is out of town as well as being involved in teaching classes and extensive personal work.
